It's removal day.
We have our own set of scaffolding to help with removals and installations.
After removing the window I had a carpenter install a new vertical grain fir sash. A piece of 1/4" clear laminated glass was then installed for future protection.
I believe that this window was pieced together from several windows. The pattern has some starts and stops that don't make sense. St. John's had a lot of damage from the 1906 earthquake.
